Vitamin-C Collection – Pixi Skin Treats
A beloved cruelty free worldwide makeup and skincare brand, Pixi Beauty was founded by makeup artist and product creator Petra Strand. The first Pixi store launched in Soho, London in 1999. Petra’s inspiration behind the brand came from her birthplace Stockholm, Sweden. Pixi’s mission: to bring out the natural beauty in all women.
“Looking like you, only better…in no time – that’s Pixi” – Petra Strand
The Vitamin-C Collection boasts a potent brightening effect, combined with antioxidant protection and clarifying properties. Vitamin-C has always been recognised as one of the hardest working skin care ingredients, and Pixi Skintreats have captured this in their new skincare collection.

PIXI SKIN TREATS – VITAMIN C COLLECTION ♥ |
The Vitamin-C Collection has been designed by Pixi Skintreats to effortlessly and instantly boost your complexion. You can use one specific item or incorporate all of the products into your daily routine to derive the most extensive benefits.
Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser (150ml)
Okay, so I’ve chosen to start with the Juice Cleanser first because I am obsessed with it, so much so I’ve already gone through one and nearly finished my second bottle! It’s become a staple part of my skincare routine – I use this as the second part of a ‘double cleanse’ step after my usual micellar water. The cleanser removes impurities while boosting your natural collagen production and luminosity and preserving and protecting your complexion. Other main ingredients include Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon and Olive oils, Orange Flower Water (soothe & refresh) and Ferulic Acid (provides an antioxidant boost, also proven to reduce the effects of sun damage).
Price: £18
Vitamin-C Tonic (100ml)
I don’t know about you guys but I personally fell in love with Pixi’s tonics a longggg time ago. You’ll see another review later in the series featuring the first package I was ever sent which contained three tonics. They’ve fast become part of my daily skincare routine so when I was sent this one I knew I’d love it! To be used after cleansing, this tonic contains Vitamin C (brightens & boosts luminosity), Probiotics (strengthens & protects), Willowbark (gently exfoliates & balances), Aloe Vera (soothes & hydrates) and Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit extracts. Aside from the obvious visible benefits of smoother skin tone and even complexion after use, it also smells amazing! Cruelty and alcohol free, this tonic like the rest of the collection can be used on all skin types.
Price: £10
Vitamin-C Serum (30ml)
I’ve used a couple of Pixi’s Serum’s now so couldn’t wait to try this one, especially after how impressed I’ve been with the rest of the collection! I reach for this after completing steps 1 and 2 user the cleanser and tonic. This serum is a much thicker consistency than expected and a little goes a long way! The useful pippett top enables you to apply a few measured drops to your face, neck and décolletage before gently massaging into the skin. Containing Vitamin-C, Aloe Vera, Ferulic Acid and Fruit Extracts, this serum is also paraben and cruelty free.
Price: £26
Vitamin-C Caviar Balm (45ml)
Another new product to me, this Caviar Balm aka leave-on face mask contains encapsulated Vitamin-C (a powerful antioxidant that promotes a healthy glow and collagen production), Shea Butter and Olive Oil (deeply nourishing), Willow Bark and Fruit Extracts (gently exfoliates skin). Once you’ve cleansed, applied toner and facial serum, gently massage the mask into your skin, allowing your skin time to absorb this before moving onto makeup application. Personally, I was amazed with how soft a refreshed my skin felt by the time I reached this stage in my routine and am now obsessed with this.
Price: £24
Vitamin-C Lotion (50ml)
Pixi’s Vitamin-C Lotion can be used in addition or instead of the Caviar Balm daily as a moisturiser after cleansing and applying toner and serum. I’ve got a couple of Pixi’s Lotions already and I love them as I’m a huge fan of all water based moisturisers, I find them so hydrating and light. This contains various fruit extracts and Lactic Acid providing additional hydration. For a couple of months now I’ve been using this daily and incorporating the balm into my routine once a week for a deeper nourishment and my skin is thanking me for it!
Price: £24
Summary
So again, whilst I was initially gifted this collection by Pixi, I’ve fast fallen in love with these products, so much so that I’ve already personally repurchased the cleanser and tonic! If you’re looking for something new to add to your skincare routine, products that will improve elasticity, collagen product and optimal skin health, these are the products for you. I’ll also mention the price point because I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the quality of the products for this price point is such good value, and what’s more, it makes allowing these products to become part of your skincare routine and repurchasing a whole lot easier!
Pixi are now available to purchase in multiple stores throughout the UK including Cult Beauty, Look Fantastic, Harvey Nichols, Marks & Spencer, Boots, House of Fraser, Next, ASOS, and many others! They’re also due to launch on Feel Unique soon.
Thanks for reading guys!
