So I’m back! I know it’s been a while since my last post but I’m working on getting back to weekly blogging. Unfortunately sometimes life just gets in the way and blogging was something I had to sacrifice for a while. Anyway, as the title of this latest post suggests, I’ve once again been blessed with the kindness and support of the team at Charlotte Tilbury. I literally am always so over whelmed when brands as well known and respected as Charlotte Tilbury can still reach out to micro influencers such as myself. Anyway, let’s move on to what they sent me!
PR Package ♥ |
You’ll know from my last post that Charlotte Tilbury products have fast become part of my daily routine (hence the doubles of the pressed powder and filmstar bronze & glow duo!). The pressed powder was first brought to my attention by none other than YouTube beauty industry favourite Jaclyn Hill. I am extremely guilty of watching her videos and needing to buy anything she recommends. I’ve already hit pan so of course I had to buy a back up ready for when I run out as I use it almost every day! It really is the best pressed powder I’ve used, the formulae is soft and buttery, perfectly capable of setting the under eye area as well as the rest of the face.
The same applies to the bronze/glow duo, I’ve seen a lot of You Tubers raving about the benefits of using bronzers for contouring (Kelly Strack is a Benefit Hoola fan). For me, the sculpt shade in this palette doubles as the most perfect bronze and contour shade, I absolutely LOVE it! Since receiving them, the CT Magic Cream and Wonder Glow primer have also fast become part of my daily routine. The primer is beautiful, silky smooth with a hint of a tint and shimmer, perfect to be worn alone or under foundation. The Magic Cream was a product I was so scared to become addicted to (it retails at £70 for 50ml!) but again, I’m guilty.
The new additions to the family ♥ |
Moving on to the newest additions to the collection, the team at Charlotte Tilbury were kind enough to send me two new shades of lipstick as well as a tinted moisturiser. I’m sure by now you’ve seen the hype surround the CT lipsticks, both the Matte Revolution and the K.I.S.S.I.N.G variations and trust me, they are definitely not to be missed.
- Unisex Healthy Glow – all year hydrating summer tint moisturiser – 40ml – £35
- K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick – shade: Love Bite – 3.5g – £24
- Matte Revolution lipstick – shade: The Queen – 3.5g – £24

The two shades I was sent are very me. I am a red lipstick girl at heart, it was always my first choice of lipstick when I was younger and I can honestly say, comparing this lipstick formulae against the £2-£3 lipsticks I used to purchase, you can evidently see the difference.
The K.I.S.S.I.N.G formulae is beautiful. Silky smooth to apply, a long-wear non-drying lipstick colour accentuates the lips whilst keeping them protected from UV rays and pollutants. With any creamy lipstick formulae, something I’m always conscious of is ‘fraying’. Thankfully, this creamy formulae has been created perfectly, packed full of waxes to prevent uneven application during wear. ‘Love Bite’ is your traditional Fire Engine red, not too pink or too coral/orange toned, just a simple ‘red’.
The Matte Revolution formulae is one a little closer to my heart. Since liquid lipsticks became a thing, I’ve began reaching more and more for anything matte on the lips rather than creme sheen. ‘The Queen’ is a beautiful dusky pink toned burgundy, the finish velvet like but again non-drying. The squared off tip was intended to mimic the effects of a lip brush making it easier to apply within the natural outline of your lips.
Unisex Healthy Glow ♥ |
I have to say, when I received the Unisex Healthy Glow moisturiser, I really did not know what to expect. When I think of tinted moisturiser, my mind drifts to drug store tinted moisturisers that have that awful muted fake tan smell and you apply it before going to bed, and it takes a good 6-8 hours to develop. This was described as creating a ‘your skin but better’ healthy glow, adapting to your skin tone to create an every day sun kissed glow.
I couldn’t wait to see how this worked and it literally was like magic in front of my eyes, I was stunned. There was no horrible fake tan smell, no streaks and no stained hands. I squeezed a tiny amount on the back of my hand and applied with my finger tips, massaging it into all areas on my face and down my neck. The colour transformation was instant and the result was beautiful. As someone who is often prone to receiving a glowing natural tan all over during the summer months but it never quite reaches my face, this will literally be a life saver for the summer months and it will definitely be coming away with me on my summer holidays!
All of the above products are available on Charlotte Tilbury’s website as well as Cult Beauty, John Lewis and House of Fraser. All of their products are cruelty free, and a large proportion of them are also vegan .
