So Beauty Chamber were kind enough to send me both of the BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel palettes so I thought I’d do a quick comparison for those of you who were thinking about purchasing them! This is the first time I’d used anything from BH Cosmetics so I was intrigued to see what all the hype was about. I also loveeee Carli Bybel and I love her you tube channel. I have to say, I’ve used the original palette a fair few times since receiving it so it’s safe to say I was extremely excited to receive the deluxe version and compare them. Below you’ll find comparison pictures complete with swatches to help you decide which one you prefer. They’re both beautiful palettes and the colours are right up my street, lots of warm neutral colours, with hints of purples, golds and bronze shades. The palettes themselves contain both eye-shadows and beautiful highlight shades, perfect for travelling with!

The formulae of the matte shades is perfection – we all know the matte shades can make or break any palette. These are creamy, pigmented and so easy to blend. As for the shimmers shades, they’re metallic, vibrant and rich.
Exterior Packaging ♥ |
These two palettes are packaged beautifully. A pristine white cushion decorates the background of both palettes. The original pallets done a crisp metallic chrome printed label with a striped interior, whilst the deluxe version contains a very on trend rose gold label with a modern marble interior. The original palette contains circular shadow and highlighter pans, with the a beautiful floral print pressed into the highlighters. In the deluxe addition, they changed the highlighter pan shape to squares/rectangles as well as adding additional shadows and highlight shades.

The original Carli Bybel BH Cosmetics palette contains, ten shadows, a beautiful mixture of five mattes and five shimmers. The matte shades consist of a beautiful cream – perfect for all over the lid and setting the crease, a warm milk chocolate brown, a soft purple, a deep berry and a dark brown. The shimmers include a rose champagne shimmer, a cool champagne, a true gold, a deep bronze and a rich copper. The highlight shades consist of one ice violet shade, a champagne highlight, a rich gold and a bronze/copper. It retails for £17.95 on Beauty Chamber.

Next up is the deluxe edition, boasting fifteen shadows and six highlight shades. Within the palette there are eight matte shades and seven shimmer shades. The mattes boast soft creams, peaches and neutrals, mixed with rich purples, berries and browns. The highlight shades still retain the ice violet, the rose champagne, the true gold and the bronze along with a new ice white and golden champagne. This palette is a stunning upgrade from the first palette and definitely worth of a place in your suitcase! It’s extremely light weight and retails for £22 on Beauty Chamber and Beauty Bay.

So that’s the swatches and the two palettes side by side. For the price of these two palettes, whichever one you choose, my honest opinion is both are absolutely beautiful and definite value for money. You can create so many looks with the palettes, with the highlighter shades doubling up as bonus popping shimmer shades or to highlight that inner corner/brown bone.

If you have the chance, pick either of these beauties up and also make sure to check out Beauty Chamber and BH Cosmetics! Their brush sets and palettes in particular are absolutely amazing and they are such good value for money. Also a great Christmas gift!
Although I received these products complimentary from Beauty Chamber this post is not sponsored and these are my own thoughts, opinions and photos.
